Side Gear

The Side Gear/Straight Bevel Gear is designed and manufactured for use in vehicle drivetrain systems, with a strong emphasis on strength, wear resistance, and dimensional stability. The production process starts with material cutting and forging, followed by drilling, back cone turning, machining of the shaft diameter bearing surface, and spline broaching. After these machining operations, the gear undergoes carburizing and quenching heat treatment. Post-heat-treatment machining is then carried out on the shaft diameter bearing surface to ensure precise fit and accuracy, and the product is finally treated with surface phosphating to enhance corrosion resistance and initial lubrication performance. Custom manufacturing based on customer drawings is fully supported, as well as the use of specified materials and designated processes. Strict quality control is applied throughout production, including dimensional inspection, hardness testing, and heat treatment quality verification, ensuring reliable torque transmission, excellent fatigue life, and consistent performance under cyclic loading conditions.
