Driving Cylindrical Gear

Category

Description

This product is a driving cylindrical gear for heavy-duty truck powertrains, manufactured from 20CrMnTiH alloy steel. Production sequence: blanking → forging → rough & finish turning of OD and end faces → end-face tooth milling → hobbing → carburizing & quenching → post-heat-treatment machining of bores and mounting/reference faces → gear grinding. The process route is mature and stable, balancing strength, dimensional accuracy, and reliability to meet long-term operation under heavy-load conditions.
Carburizing and quenching produce a high-hardness, wear-resistant tooth surface while retaining a tough core, effectively improving load capacity and fatigue resistance. Post-heat machining and gear grinding further secure tooth profile accuracy, mounting dimensions and mesh quality, resulting in smooth transmission, low noise and long service life.
Materials: 20CrMnTiH — suitable for high-load, high-fatigue-strength gear applications; material can be specified per customer requirements.
Heat treatment: carburizing & quenching — hardened tooth surface with a tough core; alternative heat treatments available on request.
Process: forging + precision turning + gear grinding — ensures dimensional stability and gear accuracy.
Applications: heavy-duty truck transmissions, drive axles and other heavy-load powertrain systems.
Customizable to customer drawings and technical specifications; suitable for stable mass production supply.
