Inter-shaft Half-Axle Gear

Category

Description

This product is a half-axle gear designed for inter-shaft applications under heavy-load conditions, manufactured from 20CrMnTiH alloy steel. Production sequence: blanking → forging → drilling → back-taper turning → shaft-journal turning → bore machining → broached keyway → pin-hole drilling → carburizing & quenching → post-heat-treatment bore machining → post-heat-treatment shaft-journal grinding. The process route is complete and optimized for the strength and fit accuracy required by heavy-duty transmission components.
Key advantages

Material: 20CrMnTiH — excellent hardenability and wear resistance, with superior fatigue performance; alternative materials available on request.
Heat treatment: Carburizing & quenching — hardened tooth and journal surfaces with a tough core, balancing wear resistance and impact toughness; alternative heat treatments available on request.
Precision & fit: Post-heat machining and shaft grinding ensure journal concentricity and assembly fit; broached keyway and pin holes provide reliable mounting.
Process reliability: Forging increases material density and fatigue life; precision finishing guarantees assembly fit and gear meshing quality.
Applications: Heavy-duty trucks (transmission output shafts, drive axle half-shafts, intermediate drive shafts, etc.) and other heavy-load vehicle driveline systems.

Customizable to customer drawings and technical requirements (tooth count, module, tolerances, surface hardness, carburized case depth, etc.). Supports prototype validation and stable mass production. For technical data or a quotation, please provide drawings or key parameters.
